God is true to His Word and He promises that we won’t be tempted beyond our abilities. But more than that, He provides a way of escape from temptation.
Discipline leads to endurance. Endurance leads to the peaceful fruit of righteousness. A lack of discipline leads to compliance, and compliance leads to further sin.
The God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament. He is gracious and longsuffering today, as well as in the days of Abraham.

While people like Martin Luther and John Calvin were important people, we must never forget that it was God’s own will that brought us out of darkness into light.
Whenever your authority is Scripture and something else, Scripture is going to be drowned out and unbiblical, and unfounded doctrinal heresies flow from there.
Through Christ alone, we are given eternal life and will never perish. We who are truly a part of the elect are unable to be snatched out of Jesus’s hand, nor the Father’s hand.
We now have the ability to receive new information in a matter of seconds all at our fingertips. While the printing press was an awesome invention, it comes nowhere near the mere potentials of technology.
Some may be confused as to how this text has been misread, but hopefully I will be able to make the case, by the grace of God, as to why it is.
