God is true to His Word and He promises that we won’t be tempted beyond our abilities. But more than that, He provides a way of escape from temptation.
Through this series called Boot Camp, I will look at various difficulties of the Christian life while using my experiences in my past military training. These topics will be: Discipline, Tribulations and Persecution, Temptations, Tests and Trials, and Enduring and Overcoming.
We need to seek God’s will to know what God calls us to do and always understand that if He calls us to something else. Once He calls us, we need to accept it and obey Him.
Sometimes we are called to difficult situations and we must not argue or complain. Once we start the journey, we must trust in His perfect timing to remain patient and faithful always.
Through Christ alone, we are given eternal life and will never perish. We who are truly a part of the elect are unable to be snatched out of Jesus’s hand, nor the Father’s hand.
We are not to know when Christ is supposed to come back; that is up to God the Father.
When we use language, we must make sure that it is pure, appropriate, and aligns with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Seeing as how important prayer is to Christian living, Jesus left us instruction on how to do exactly that.
